Selecting the Right Candidate - A Competitive Hiring Simulation

Each building Principal should assemble their team of 4-5 Staff Members to help them in a competitive hiring simulation. Only one (1) Team per school, each team MUST consist of at least one (1) Administrator, and 4-5 Teaching Staff. Total of 5-6 people per team; no more, no less. This sessionis for Secondary Schools.


Each team will be given a set of instructions and a list of candidates. The goal of the competition is to select the right candidate for your job posting. Teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential for success. This is a competition, and there is only one solution. Which team will hire the right candidate?


De-brief discussion will follow the competitive simulation. As a group, we will also share some of the hiring tips/tricks/techniques that have worked well in the past. Apps your team should be familiar with include Google, Facebook, Twitter, among other social media apps/sites.
